Global Change Research Institute CAS (part of The Czech Academy of Sciences (GCCS)

GCCS's main focus is on issues of environmental sciences, and in particular on the problem of global climate change, which by its nature and possible consequences extends beyond the basic thematic segments of atmosphere, ecosystem, and socio-economic system. GCC has become an ecological, sociological and technical problem of the present with a global impact, the solution of which requires profound expert knowledge.

Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA)

The Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) is Norway’s leading institution for applied ecological research, with broad-based expertise on the genetic, population, species, ecosystem and landscape level, in terrestrial, freshwater and coastal marine environments.

National Statistical Institute of Bulgaria (NSI)

NSI is the Bulgarian state agency responsible for the collection and dissemination of statistical data on the population, economy and environment of the country. The NSS development is founded on the vision that the National Statistical System produces and provides to all user groups high-quality statistical products and services, produced based on harmonized European methodologies and standards and observes the principles of the European Statistics Code of Practice.

University of Patras (UPAT)

National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (NIGGG BAS)

The National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography carries out fundamental and applied research in the field of geophysics, seismology, earthquake engineering, geodesy, and geography in order to facilitate the sustainable development of the Republic of Bulgaria. The Institute provides scientific services to governmental and non-governmental bodies, including monitoring and expert information, analyses and assessments.

Research institute Nature and Forest (INBO)

The Research Institute for Nature and Forest is the Flemish research and knowledge centre for nature and its sustainable management and use. INBO conducts research and supplies knowledge to all those who prepare or make the policies or are interested in them as a stakeholder. Through its scientific research, INBO supports all agencies dealing with open space in the Flemish government, as well as in organisations involved in nature conservation, forestry, agriculture, hunting and fishery. 

Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO)

Bundesamt für Naturschutz (BfN)

The German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (Bundesamt für Naturschutz – BfN) is the German government’s scientific authority with responsibility for national and international nature conservation. BfN is one of the government’s departmental research agencies and reports to the German Environment Ministry (BMUB).

The Agency provides the German Environment Ministry with professional and scientific assistance in all nature conservation and landscape management issues and in international cooperation activities. BfN furthers its objectives by carrying out related scientific research and is also in charge of a number of funding programmes.

World Conservation Monitoring Centre Lbg (WCMC)

WCMC is a UK non-profit organization that is committed to the conservation and sustainable management of biodiversity worldwide. Based in Cambridge, WCMC employs more than a hundred specialists in the fields of biodiversity, ecosystem services, economics, information technology, and support services. The WCMC Marine Programme provides interdisciplinary specialist expertise in marine biodiversity related matters, including marine impacts of climate change, ecological and socio-economic assessments of marine issues, marine data collation, management and visualisation, area-bmarine ecosystem services assessment, marine modelling, and marine policy and planning. 

Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE)

SYKE is a multidisciplinary research and expert institute. The most important task is to solve society's most burning questions that have an impact on the environment. SYKE is building a sustainable society and provides necessary information, multidisciplinary expertise and expert services for public and private decision-making.

SarVision (SV)

SarVision is a private company founded and supported by researchers of the Wageningen University. SV is developing and implementing monitoring systems for natural resources management. SarVision integrates radar data from multiple satellite constellations with other sensors, using cutting-edge algorithms and environmental economic accounting models.

Executive Environment Agency (ExEA)

Executive Environment Agency (ExEA) is an administration with the Ministry of Environment and Water to carry out management, coordination and information functions as regards the control and environmental protection in Bulgaria. It designs and manages the National System for Environmental Monitoring for monitoring and information on the state of environmental components and factors on the complete territory of the country.

Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC)

The Rey Juan Carlos University promotes research aimed at economic and social development, promoting and enhancing research activity and the dissemination and transfer of knowledge and results to society. The promotion of R + D + i activities is carried out through collaboration with companies and institutions, and participation in national and international calls that allow our researchers to develop their lines of research contributing to the generation, expansion and dissemination of knowledge, and the advancement of science and technology.

Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC)

The Spanish National Research Council aims at the promotion, coordination, development and dissemination of scientific and technological multidisciplinary research, in order to contribute to the progress of knowledge and economic, social and cultural development; as well as to the training of human resources dedicated to research, and the advice to public and private entitites in these fields.
